Ask has supported the Manchester Partnership at MIPIM since we set up the company in 2000, and are proud to have attended every year since.
This year, together with Ian Simpson Architects, we have the opportunity to bring our colleagues in the Partnership, as well as the wider audience on the Manchester Stand, up to speed with our emerging plans for First Street – hopefully we will have a full house!
Proposals for First Street North, which comprises two hotels, bar/restaurants, car park and the new home for the merged Cornerhouse and Library Theatre Company, have now been submitted to Manchester City Council and a planning decision is expected in early April. If approved, we will see activity on site by the autumn.
Two other significant projects for Ask are Embankment Greengate, which we are delivering in partnership with Salford Council, and Central Park in East Manchester which has seen a considerable amount of activity recently with the completion of the new Force Headquarter and Divisional Headquarter buildings for Greater Manchester Police.
The Marketing Manchester team always do a great job, and the Manchester at MIPIM flight has been a great addition in easing the burden of sorting out travel arrangements.
